The Long-Term Vision - Southern Section

The Greenway starts at the Tower Road parking lot in Point Pleasant Park and goes along Francklyn Street to the bottom of Pine Hill Drive, then across a new pedestrian bridge across the rail cut to the back of the Oaks at Saint Mary's University. A second approach to the bridge runs down Pine Hill Drive from the corner of Tower Road.

The multi-use trail runs parallel to the rail cut to Roxton Road. Nature footpaths run to Roxton Road/Marlborough Woods on either side of the rail cut.

The existing Halifax Urban Greenway - Phase One runs the length of Beaufort Avenue from Roxton Road/Marlborough Woods to South Street. A nature footpath will parallel the trail wherever possible.

The multi-use trail crosses to the other side of the rail cut between South Street and Coburg Road. It crosses again at Coburg Road to go through Conrose Park.
